Browser
Internet Explorer is targeted for lots of
different types of spyware and viruses. For this
reason, we would advise people use Firefox for their
browser. This is a free download which is available
at
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/.
Spyware
We would advise Ad-Aware and Spybot Search
and Destroy for Spyware removal.
Both are available at
www.download.com. We do not advise you install
any of the other Anti-Spyware programs from this
list due to they are only a trial versions and will
want you to buy. Ad-Aware and Spybot are 100% free
though.
Not all Spyware is caught by these programs and some
problems do require manual removal to clean a system.
Virus
Viruses can come from many different places, like e-mail and
file sharing programs. Other things like failure to keep your
operating system up to date or not running anti-virus can allow
viruses to infect your system.
We are familiar with McAfee, Norton and AVG but will make an effort
to work with any Anti-Virus program you want.
PDF Maker
